Lilly State of Mind: Summer Delivery 3 and Romper Spotlight!

Happy Wednesday Friends! New arrivals were released to the Lilly Pulitzer website on Monday marking the third release of the summer and some of my favorite additions have been rompers!

This week”s release saw four prints (including two pop up prints!) and the return of two of my favorite romper styles. The new prints are “Gimme the Juice” and “Beat the Heat” and the pop up prints that have been brought back are “Lilly State of Mind” patchwork and “Sea Cups”.

My favorites from this launch are “Beat the Heat” and “Lilly State of Mind” patchwork. I love all pineapple themed prints and the blue and pink color way of “Beat the Heat” is beautiful, and I love the “Lilly State of Mind” patchwork because of how bright the new color way is and it is a fun and unique look back at some Lilly print history.

Lucky for me two of my favorite romper styles have been brought back in my two favorite prints from this release! The Pearl Romper is back in “Beat the Heat” with all of my favorite features from the original and some cute new details! It still has the same design with a high neckline and cute side ties, but it now has a cute notch in the middle of the high neck and flattering print engineering going down the middle of the romper. This piece is definitely on my must have list.

My other favorite romper style that has returned is the Sammi Romper in the “Lilly State of Mind” patchwork. The Sammi Romper is like the more comfortable cousin to the Pearl and Donna rompers which says a lot because they are already really comfortable! The Sammi has the cute side ties, but has a cute scoop neckline, a little extra length, and is made of a stretchy knit fabric instead of a satin-back crepe like the other rompers- making it one of the comfiest rompers ever. I also plan on adding it to my collection.

As for the rest of this release, I was a little disappointed. I love the “Gimme the Juice” print, but there weren’t many styles made in the print that I loved, and while I love the styles made in “Sea Cups”, I feel like the prints are very toned down and not ones that I would reach for on an every day basis. What are your favorite pieces from the collection? Let me know in the comments!
